This was evident in the poll survey launched by INQUIRER.net on Thursday, February 17, after the Supreme Court refused to trash the election protest filed by Bongbong Marcos against Vice President Leni Robredo.

The Presidential Electorla Tribunal found Marcos’ complaint to be “sufficient in form and substance.” The PET’s eight-page resolution declared that Marcos’ petition is within its jurisdiction as mandated by the 1987 Constitution.
INQUIRER reported that Robredo’s counterstatement said that the PET had no jurisdiction over the protest because it “improperly questions the authenticity and due execution of the Certificates of Canvass (COC).”
In defense, the PET cited Section 4 Article VII of the Constitution in relation to Rule 13 of the PET rules saying, “the Tribunal shall be sole judge of all contests relation to the election, returns and qualifications of the President and Vice President of the Philippines.”
It has been almost a year since Marcos files his protest claiming that he was cheated on in the automated elections. He asked the PET to annul around a million votes for Robredo from Lanao del Sur, Basilan, and Maguindanao.
